Former LARA student Alastair Brown now splits his time between commissions and tutoring and recently exhibited at the Royal Society of British Artists‘ annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries. His Trio of Plums – seen below – was awarded highly commended by the de Laszlo Foundation Prize.
In this great interview he talks about why he chose traditional atelier training, over a university degree. It’s always fascinating to hear from alumni on why the atelier method was right for them.
