Helen Masacz is a graduate from Middlesex University (BFA, PGCE) and LARA. In her work, Masacz uses narrative and the continuous practice of traditional skills to express and make sense of contemporary culture.
Masacz has exhibited across the UK, including at the Mall Galleries and The National Portrait Gallery, and has won awards including The Arts Club Award at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Exhibition. She is one of the founding members of Lot5 Collective.
This work – How Can You Sleep at Night – was selected to show at LARA’s Graduating in Paint, an exhibition of artists working in innovative ways across the field of painting who have graduated from art schools across the UK.
