LARA Alumnus Named Official Painter for Team GB

Former LARA student Max Denison-Pender has been named as one of two official artists who will cover the action in Tokyo when Team GB competes in the next Olympic games. Max studied full-time here at LARA from the tender age of 16 and has gone from strength-to-strength since then, putting on his first sell-out solo exhibition ‘The Heart of London’ last year and becoming the first artist to have the privilege to paint 10 Downing Street from life in over 30 years. He will also be featuring in the upcoming 303rd Annual Royal Society of British Artists Exhibition, along with many other LARA alumni and tutors, such as Alastair Brown, Lizet Dingemans, Lewis Hazelwood-Horner, Max Mansbridge-West, Charlie Pickard, Krystyna Rogerson and Svetlana Semenova.

We’re so proud of our alumni and their varied achievements!
