    course information

The day will begin with Jon demonstrating several methods of painting with palette knives of a variety of shapes. Jon will discuss the relative merits of knives and brushes for various tasks.

Each student will use two canvasses (or boards), one to practise making marks on and the other to paint the still life. A limited palette of paints will be used to reduce the complexity of colour mixing.
