Friends of LARA Charity is a non-profit independent organisation (registered charity in England and Wales no.1163360). Our work and success,
depends on the generous donations of individuals, businesses, trusts and foundations. We aim to provide support to students who would otherwise
be unable to access an atelier training and in doing so, to maintain the traditional method of training painters.
If you share our belief that no student should be deterred from applying to, or prevented from studying at LARA for financial reasons, please
give today. Thank you to all our supporters.

Make the most of your gift Every £5 you donate could be worth £6.25. To make this possible, we ask all UK taxpayers to make a Gift Aid Declaration.*
I confirm I have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for the current tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is
at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) that I donate to will reclaim on
my gifts for the current tax year. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. I understand the charity will
reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I have given. I will notify the charity if I want to cancel this declaration or change my name or home
address or no longer pay sufficient tax on my income and/or capital gains.
*If you pay income tax at the higher or additional rate and wish to receive the additional tax relief due to you, please note that you must
include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
How To Leave A Gift In Your Will
Leaving a gift in your will to the Friends of LARA Trust is straightforward and tax efficient. As a registered charity, a bequest to the Friends
of LARA Trust is free of Inheritance Tax so your gift can reduce the amount of your estate liable for tax.
If you are a beneficiary of a bequest you can transfer all or part of the bequest to the Trust under a Deed of Variation. Not only will LARA
benefit from your gift during your lifetime but the gift itself will be transferred free of Inheritance Tax. There are different types
of bequests which can make a real difference to the future of the School: please click the button below to find out about the options.
